GANT Margaret (née Russell) Aged 88 of Thornton Watlass, formerly of Cowling, passed away peacefully on December 5, at her care home in Bedale. Dearly loved wife of the late Stewart Gant, mother of Camilla and Charles Gant, and grandma to Francis, Haleh and Zohreh. Former teacher at Newton-le-Willows Primary School and member of Bedale Golf Club. Funeral service at St Mary's Church, Thornton Watlass on Friday, December 21, at 2.00pm. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired for The Stroke Association, may be sent care of Keith Parlour, 28 Market Place, Bedale, North Yorks, DL8 1EQ.
