HIRD On December 10 peacefully at home, of Green Lane Farm, Whashton and formerly of Smarber Farm, Low Row. Kenneth (Ken) aged 77 years, dearly loved husband of Kathleen, very dear dad of Roger, Amanda and Guy, much loved father-in-law of Helen and Suzann and loving grandad of Lauren, Oliver, Ruby, George and Annabelle. Funeral Service to be held at The Church of St. Peter and St. Felix, Kirby Hill on Thursday, December 20 at 11:00am followed later by a private committal service at Darlington Crematorium. Family flowers only please, however donations in memory of Kenneth would be appreciated for the work of the Church, The Yorkshire Air Ambulance Service and The British Heart Foundation which may be given at the service or forwarded to Simon Barningham, Manor Farm, Grinton, Richmond, North Yorks.
