TALLENTIRE Kathleen (nee Birkbeck) of Whorlton and East Shaws. Died peacefully on January 23 in Darlington Memorial Hospital aged 78. Devoted wife of Wilfred and loving mother to Keith, Stephen, Janette, Philip and Mark. Also dedicated 'Gran' to 14 grandchildren. Funeral will take place at 12:00 noon, on Wednesday, February 6, at St Mary's Church, Whorlton. Kathleen requested no black ties please. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Teesdale Cancer Research UK and St. Mary's Church funds.
