PHILLIPS Sybil Doreen On April 23, peacefully in Elizabeth House, Scorton, Sybil aged 89 years, formerly of Town End Farm, East Cowton. Dearly loved wife of the late Hughie and mother to Ian and the late Wendy. Mother-in-law to Janet. A dear grandma to Gemma and Katrina and great-grandma to Archie and Charlie. Private cremation to take place.

Remembering a wonderful family friend that has always been a part of my life. Sybil went to school with my mother (Mollie Wardle ). Our family spent many happy times together, despite living over 100 miles apart, often on the farm. I remember watching Sybil playing cricket, she baked the best parkin and cooked wonderful Yorkshire puddings. In later years, after Hughie's death, Sybil was a very dear friend of my father, Jim Lewis. I will always remember her happy, caring personality. Remembered with love, Debbie xx
