STONES William Laidman "Laidman" Laidman Stones, of Arkengarthdale, died peacefully in the love and care of Maple Lodge Nursing Home on April 30, aged 78 years. Very much loved by all his family, his wife Maureen, son Nathan and daughter Gillian, daughter-in-law Anne, son-in-law Mark, and grandchildren James, Louise, Seth and Travis. Due to the current circumstances a small Funeral Service will be held for his family. If friends and neighbours wish to pay their final respects to Laidman, the Funeral Cortege will pass through Langthwaite on Friday May 15, at approximately 1:15pm. Donations in memory of Laidman, are going towards the continuing work of Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
