SANDIE Mark Mark James Burton Sandie, (85) died peacefully on September 13, in Lister House Ripon. Mark grew up in Dunbar, served in the army, taught physics at Thirsk School from 1965-88. He is survived by his son James, daughter Kate, twin granddaughters Ella and Lucy, and his two sisters in Scotland. They are grateful for the excellent care he got at Lister House, which after 10 years had become "home."
