HORSEMAN John Edward of Hudswell, Richmond, died peacefully at Maple Lodge, Scotton on November 28, aged 85 years. Much loved father of David and Mark, a dear father-in-law, loving grandfather and brother to Margaret. John's Funeral Service will take place at St Mary's Church, Richmond on Wednesday December 16, at 1.30pm followed by interment in Hudswell churchyard. Due to the current restrictions numbers in the church are limited, however for friends wishing to pay their respects to John the funeral cortege will travel from Richmond to Hudswell passing through Downholme at approximately 12.40pm and leaving John's home at approximately 1.00pm. The cortege will then pass through Richmond Market Place at approximately 1.20pm. Following the service the cortege will return to Hudswell for the interment at approximately 2.45pm (please observe social distancing guidelines). Family flowers only please. Donations if desired for Rotary International and Downholme Church Funds may be given in cheque form only please (cheques payable to the charities) and send care of John Blenkiron & Sons, 21 Queens Road, Richmond, DL10 4AJ.
