BATEMAN John Alan John lost his battle against Parkinson's on Sunday January 24, at The Sandringham Care Home. He was from Gainford, formerly Bolam and was born at Goldsborough near Whitby. A very proud Yorkshireman. The beloved husband of Jacqueline (Jackie), much loved father of Andrew and Alison, father-in-law of Alan and Tracey and proud grandfather of Hannah, Luke, James and Peter. Private funeral at Wear Valley Crematorium on Wednesday February 10, at 11.30am, however anyone wishing to pay their respects can see the cortege leave from Academy Gardens at 10.55am, proceeding through Ingleton at 11.10am, before proceeding to the private ceremony.
