MARSHALL Sydney (Syd) Of Richmond, retired Chief Superintendent North Yorkshire Police, died unexpectedly but peacefully on February 28, aged 89 years. Dearly loved husband of Joyce, much loved dad of Lynne and Paul, a dear father-in-law to Steven, loving grandad of David, Nick, Kelly, and Daniel and great-grandad to Oliver, Annabelle, Lyla, Arian and Joshua. Due to the current restrictions a small Funeral Service for Syd will take place at Darlington Crematorium on Tuesday March 16, at 2.15pm. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired for The British Heart Foundation may be sent in cheque form c/o John Blenkiron & Sons, 21 Queens Road, Richmond. DL10 4AJ.
