WESTGARTH George of Newsham, died peacefully at home on June 2, aged 82 years, surrounded by his loving family. Dearly beloved husband to Dorothy, much loved father to Katherine, Caroline, Johan and Mark, adored grandad to Charlotte, Harvey, Claudia, Alexa and Sebastian, great-grandad to Teddy and dear father-in-law to Ian, John, Paul and Debbie. George will be greatly missed by all his family and many friends. The Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, June 17, at 1.30pm at St Michael & All Angels Church, Barningham. Numbers in the church remain limited due to Covid restrictions. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to St Michael & All Angels Church (payable to Barningham PCC) or The Royal Free Charity Fund 24 (payable to The Royal Free Charity Fund 24) may be sent care of John Blenkiron & Sons, 19 Galgate, Barnard Castle, DL12 8EQ.
