HARKER Derek, of Langthwaite, formerly of Shepherds Lodge Farm, Arkengarthdale, passed away on May 28, aged 73 years. A much-loved son to the late James and Elsie, a dearly loved brother to Denys, and loving partner to Hilda. A loving cousin and friend to many. A small funeral service will be held for Derek. For friends and neighbours wishing to pay their final respects, the funeral cortege will leave Langthwaite at approximately 12:45pm on Monday June 14, and travel to St Mary's Church. You are invited to line the route. The Church Service will be relayed outside of church via speaker if friends wish to stay and listen. Please be sure to observe social distancing rules. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired would be gratefully received for Great North Air Ambulance sent in cheque form, care of Simon Barningham Funeral Directors, Victoria House, 21 Queens Road, Richmond DL10 4AJ.
