HETHERINGTON Bill of Kirkby Stephen retired headmaster of Abbey Junior School, Darlington. Passed away peacefully at the Cumberland Infirmary Carlisle on Thursday August 5. Beloved husband of Margaret, much loved Father of Les, Sue and the late Rick. Aged 89 years. A Cremation service will be held at Darlington Crematorium today Friday August 20, at 12.00 noon, followed by a celebration of Bill's life in Kirkby Stephen Parish Church at 2.30pm. Family flowers only are requested, Donations if desired in memory of Bill will be given to Cancer Research Uk. and maybe left at the service or sent, c/o Glyn Jones Funeral Directors, Appleby, CA16 6XS.
