METCALFE George Ernest 'Ernie' On December 3rd, peacefully in hospital, aged 86 years, of Ashleigh, Burtersett Road, Hawes, formerly of Cotterdale. Beloved husband of June, dearly loved father of Sandra and Nigel and a much loved father-in-law, grandad and great-grandad. A private family interment will be followed by a Service of Thanksgiving at Gayle Methodist Chapel on Wednesday 15th December at 1.00pm. Family flowers only please, donations if desired will be shared between The Yorkshire Air Ambulance and Chapel funds (plate in Chapel) Will friends meet at the Chapel.
