THOMPSON Roy William On 20th February peacefully at home, aged 79 years, of Brentwood Leyburn, formerly of Middleham. Beloved husband of Kath, dearly loved father of Mark and the late Dean, much loved father-in-law of Amanda and a very dear grandpa to James, Daniel, Abigail and Imogen. Funeral service to be private. Friends are welcome to join the family at Tennants Garden Rooms, Leyburn, on Friday 4th March from 12.30pm. Donations in memory of Roy will be shared between Herriot Hospice Homecare and Macmillan Cancer Support (basket available) or may be sent direct to the charity.
