Charlotte “Charlie” SPENSLEY

SPENSLEY Charlotte "Charlie" On 8th February, peacefully in hospital, aged 61 years, of Aumonds Lear, Redmire. Former teacher at Bedale, Reeth, Askrigg and Northallerton Schools. Beloved wife of Ian, dearly loved mother of Emma and Amy and a much loved mother-in-law, granny and sister. A private family cremation service will be followed by a service of Celebration for Charlie's Life at St Andrew's Church, Grinton on Saturday 26th March at 2.00pm. Donations in memory of Charlie will be shared between Yorkshire Cancer Research and Church funds (plate in church). Will friends please meet at the church. At the family's request, please wear bright clothing.

I am very sorry and sad to hear this. Charlotte taught my son, Nick, at Bedale Primary School. He is 30 this year. He benefited greatly from her teaching and guidance in that first year at school. Cathy Guy
