METCALFE John On 18th December, peacefully at Mount Vale Care Home, aged 80 years, of Washfold Farm, Leyburn. Beloved husband of Thora, dearly loved father of David, Brian and Philip and a much loved father-in-law, grandad, great-grandad and brother. Funeral service at St Matthew's Church, Leyburn on Thursday 29th December at 11am, followed by private family interment. Family flowers only please, donations if desired will be shared between The Alzheimer's Society and church funds (plate in church). Will friends please meet at the church.
