SURTEES Edith (nee Barker) Edith Surtees (nee Barker), aged 98 years, passed away on 8th October in the care of Mount Vale Care Home. Beloved wife and best friend of Alexander (Alex) Liddell Surtees (1998) to whom she was married 45 years. Loving mother of Philip, dearly loved mother-in-law of Carol, cherished grandmother of Tanya and Kandice (Sean) and great-grandmother of Jenna (Matthew), Hayden, Mary, Luke and John, a dear sister-in-law and auntie. Edith will be sadly missed by family and friends. Funeral Service at the Methodist Church, Northallerton on Tuesday, October 24 at 2:00 pm followed by Private Family Cremation at Darlington Crematorium. Will friends please meet at the Church. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to Cancer Research UK or the Canadian Cancer Society.
