BARKER Ashley The Service of Thanksgiving for the late Ashley Barker took place on 21st April 2024 at Richmond Methodist Church. Two verses from one of the prearranged bible readings of 2 Tim 4:1-8 was not, for some unknown reason; read out. We would like to make amends in trying to honour The Father and our Dad. The verses omitted were 'For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.
