John Hyde September 24th, 2024
Andy was a friend of our son, lance Corporal Ben Hyde who was one of six Royal Military Policemen killed in Iraq on 24th June 2003. On the 15th July 2003 at Ben's funeral Andy, dressed in Formal Police Uniform, stood at Ben's grave and read the poem "Do Not Stand At My Grave And Weep", It must have been so hard for him but he wanted to honour his friend and he was proud to do it. My wife Sandra and I will never forget the tribute he paid to our Son. God bless you Andy, we will never forget you. John & Sandra Hyde
