Peacefully, aged 91, in the tender care of Abbotsford Care Home, Bearsden, on 22nd October. Retired Speech Therapist with North Yorkshire Health Authority, beloved mother of David, Michael and Peter, much loved mother-in-law to Joanna, Frances and Judith, devoted grandmother to Edward, John, Sarah, Jane, Alasdair, Peter, Euan and Kirsty. Following private cremation, a service to celebrate Dorothy’s life will be held at New Kilpatrick Parish Church in Bearsden on Friday, 15th November, at 1pm, to which friends are invited. Bright colours encouraged. Family flowers only. If desired, donations in memory of Dorothy to Alzheimer Scotland.
