Passed away peacefully on 31st October 2024. Adored and loving wife of the late Charles. Proud and supportive mum/stepmum to Matthew, Jonathon, David & Michael. Much loved, caring mother-in-Law to Caitlin, Hilary, Sarah & Laura. Loving and cherished Grandma to Ellie, George, Emma, Lottie, Anna & Bryan.
Her strength, guidance and sense of adventure will live on with her family and the many friends she leaves behind.
A celebration of Gillie’s life will be held on Thursday 19th December at 14.00 at St Mary’s Church Thirsk, YO7 1PR. Family flowers only please. Charitable donations in memory of Gillie can be made to North Yorkshire Youth.
