A NATURE reserve is inviting aspiring photographers to become part of next year’s calendar.
The Foxglove Covert calendar is a popular way to support the work of the reserve. This year the staff are holding a competition to identify some stunning images of the 100 acres of moorland edge for next year’s calendar.
Reserve manager Jennifer Care said: “The photos should be taken on the reserve or on the surrounding moorland.
The judges will choose the 12 best landscape format photographs to be used in the calendar, which illustrate the season best.
There will be a prize for the images which the judges consider to be best taken by an adult and young person, 16 years and under.
For full details email foxglovelnr@btinternet.com. Deadline for pictures is Friday, October 21.
