Chris Morton of Northallerton Camera Club has sent in this stunning picture of a Red Grouse on Grinton Moor that he took the weekend before last, showing the bird using a fence as a look-out post.
This stunning winter scene was taken by Louise Cope, of Chop Gate, Bilsdale. Louise said: "I took this out walking on Clay Bank, Urra Moor, in the North York Moors one very cold morning last week."
"There was freezing fog on the hills but the sun was trying to get through. All the trees were frozen white. It was so pretty."
