NORTHALLERTON Rugby Union Football Club are dressed for success in new training kits thanks to a winning contribution from Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire.
The club, which plays its home games at Brompton Lodge, close to the homebuilder’s Thurston Park development, has scored nearly £900 for professional training shirts for its First XV team.
Steve Metcalfe, vice chairman at Northallerton Rugby Union Football Club, said: “It’s imperative we’re able to provide our players with the very best facilities and equipment that enable them to perform at their peak.
“Taylor Wimpey’s generous contribution allows us to do exactly that and treat the squad like the talented group they are both on and off the pitch.
“On behalf of everybody at the club, I’d like to extend our sincere thanks.”
Established in 1882, Northallerton Rugby Union Football Club fields three senior sides, a ladies team and a junior section, together with a summer cricket team.
