A YOUNG photographer has launched an innovative photography business to serve the needs of the region.
Jamie Tyerman, 24, set up PictureVan, based in Yarm, to provide more freedom and flexibility for businesses that require a studio setting for team and product shoots.
With a portfolio spanning sport, fashion and motor industries, Jamie's experience leaves him well placed to understand a variety of needs, with the van ensuring convenience for the client.
Jamie said: "I've always had a passion for photography, starting at 17 and gaining as much experience in a variety of industries as possible while working for my degree in commercial photography.
"Knowing that businesses need imagery and videos to tell their story, but don't always have time to visit a professional studio, or have suitable offices for a shoot, I had the idea for this facility to come to them with the van."
After securing funding, Jamie bought and converted a Luton van to house the mobile studio.
He continued: "By taking the travel and hassle away from the client, I am able to provide a full, fast and convenient service in line with their goals and brand.
"I'm always looking to add to my services and have recently received my commercial drone licence giving even more opportunity for customers.
"Ultimately, I would like the business to grow and expand through franchising across the UK."
Jamie is also using his video and photography skills to build the profile of Ironman Triathlete Joe Skipper by creating video content, conducting interviews and managing his YouTube channel.
