THIEVES ransacked a farm this morning.
Officers are appealing for information after the burglary at a farm in Guisborough.
Police received a report of an ongoing break-in at a farm off Wilton Lane shortly before midnight yesterday (Sunday) into this morning.
The suspects are believed to have stolen a quad bike and made off in a silver Volkswagen Passat.
Officers later found the Passat abandoned - the occupants had made off.
Dog unit officers attended the scene and searched a wooded area towards Eston Nab.
Four men aged 18, 19, 19 and 23 were later arrested on suspicion of burglary and they remain in police custody at this time.
The quad bike was later recovered and returned to the victim.
