FIVE actors, plus all manner of musical instruments and are to perform Shakespeare’s most raucous comedy outdoors in the grounds of a North Yorkshire stately home.
The Three Inch Fools are dusting off their instruments and stepping back into the great outdoors, with a riotous new production of The Merry Wives of Windsor. In an evening of mischief and hilarity, the Fools present this rip-roaring Shakespearean comedy in the grounds of Constable Burton Hall, near Leyburn.
This Shakespearean classic will be getting the full Three Inch Fools treatment: live music-making, deft physicality and vibrant story-telling. Expect fast-paced drama, plenty of musical instruments and many a quick costume change along the way.
The event takes place on Wednesday, July 28 at 7pm, with picnics welcome from 6pm. Audience members should come prepared for the weather as the performance will continue come rain or shine.
