A POPULAR Leyburn charity fashion show is set to go ahead again after a two-year gap.
Christmas in Yorkshire was first hosted by local author and charity ambassador Hannah Russell in 2019 and raised more than £3,000 for the Brooke charity, “Action for working horses, donkeys, and mules”.
Last year due to Covid-19 restrictions, the show was postponed but is set to go ahead this year and will take place on Friday, December 3 from 2pm.
Festive celebrations include a stylish fashion show plus a talk from best-selling author Hannah on her work as a Brooke youth ambassador. Fundraising stands, shopping and a few closely guarded Christmas surprises are also on offer.
Hannah said: “I’m really looking forward to this year’s event and welcoming people back to the fashion show. Last time we got everyone in the Christmas spirit and raised a great amount for the charity.”
Held in aid of charity, all funds raised at the event will be donated to Brooke action for working horses, donkeys, and mules.
Previously the event sold out within days; tickets can be purchased now by visiting www.eventbrite.co.uk and searching for Christmas in Yorkshire.
