THREE people have been arrested almost a year after the death of 15 year old Josh Reeson who died after taking ecstasy.
A 16-year-old girl, 17-year-old boy and a 34-year-old woman, all from York, have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
North Yorkshire Police say they are in custody at the current time.
Josh died in the early hours of Sunday, September 27, 2020, after having taken the illegal drugs.
Two men, aged 38 and 19, and two teenage boys aged 17 and 18, are still under investigating in connection with his death.
Police say two teenage boys, aged 15 and 16 who were arrested at the time, will face no further action.
Josh was rushed to hospital after becoming ill on Fulford Road, York, in the early hours of the morning, he died two days later.
An opening inquest in February heard he had died of multiple organ failure after taking a "significant quantity" of ecstasy.
