Northallerton DMC trial. Sun Inn, Bilsdale, December 19
RICHMOND'S Richard Sadler was in fine form at Northallerton DMC's trial on Sunday at their Sun Inn, Bilsdale venue as he swept to the expert win on just one mark lost to halt the run of recent victories from Beta's Ian Austermuhle.
Sadler's excellent rides on the fourth and sixth hazards saw him take the win by 12 marks.
Lealholm's Henry Jackson had a storming ride to beat the experienced Gary Pears and Liam Smith to seal a fine win in a strong Clubman A class. His unpenalised ride on the difficult sixth hazard kept his nose in front by one mark.
A fantastic event at a venue that has always proved popular and almost 70 riders turned out for the day's sport.
