CROWDS turned out for the annual Zetland Point to Point races at Witton Castle, County Durham on Monday.
The first race of a six-race card, the Zetland Conditions race, started at 2pm in front of a good amount of spectators, despite the damp, overcast Bank Holiday weather.
As well as the racing, the horses and hounds of the Zetland Hunt were out in force for the crowds to see, with children enjoying a chance to meet the dogs.
The leading rider of the day was John Dawson, who won the men's open race on Steely Addition and the conditions race on Path To Freedom.
On Sunday the Yorkshire point to point racing will be the Derwent meeting at Charm Park, near Wykeham, Scarborough.
