FARMERS from the Teesdale and Darlington areas are being given a chance to go on a coach trip to Lincolnshire to attend a large-scale cereals show which includes crop-spraying demonstrations.
Ian Douglas, of Cotherstone, is organising the trip on Thursday, June 12. A coach will leave Barnard Castle at 7am, pick up in Darlington at 7.25am, and stop at other places en route by arrangement.
The cost, including entry to the show at Leadenham, is £32. There is no reduced price for children as the event is not suitable for them. Profits will go to Cancer Research UK.
Bookings can be made to Mr Douglas on 01833-650638 or Burrells Coaches on 01833-621302.
Mr Douglas said it would be the first coach trip from the area to this type of show.
