DISABLED drivers in Darlington should soon find it easier to spot parking bays.
An online blue badge map has been launched to find parking bays, accessible stations, toilets and petrol stations.
The map was launched in July 2006 to cover 64 cities, which also includes Newcastle and Sunderland. The scheme has now been extended to include Darlington and Gateshead and another 53 towns across the country.
The website will include extra information for blue badge holders on shared use bays, residents parking and time restrictions. There is information about train station and airport accessibility, shopmobility sites and accessible beaches. Maps and search facilities are also available.
