POLICE are appealing for help from the public following a raid on a joiner's workshop.
Burglars broke into ATK Joinery, in Northallerton High Street, last week and stole power tools worth about £4,000.
Their haul included Makita and Dewalt makes of drills, jigsaws, mitre saws, routers and laser levels.
The tools are all clearly marked with the letters ATK and officers are appealing for anyone who has been offered similar tools for sale over the past few days or may have noticed them on sale at car boot sales or markets to get in touch.
The raid took place sometime between 5pm on Monday, April 7, and 8am the following day, but details have only just been released.
Anyone with any information, or who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, is asked to contact PC Jim Egan at Northallerton police on 0845-6060-247 or to call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800-555-111.
