A two-car smash caused delays on a main route into Darlington on Tuesday (November 22) lunchtime.
Dramatic pictures show the damage to one of the vehicles which was involved in the incident shortly before midday.
The red Hyundai i20 could be seen parked up at the side of the road with part of the side door and body work totally misshapen.

There were reports of heavy traffic on the A68 Woodland Road, near the junction with West Crescent shortly after the incident.
No one is believed to have been injured in the smash.
A Durham Police spokesperson said: “We were called to reports of a two-vehicle collision on Woodland Road, Darlington, at about 11.30am today. No-one is believed to have been injured.”
