A man in his 40s has been arrested after a burglary in Northallerton.
Police said the incident took place at a garage in Springwell Lane on Monday night and are appeaking for witnesses and information.
It happened between 10.30pm and 11pm, when the suspect was seen running off from the area.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: "Anyone who saw any suspicious activity or who has private CCTV or a video doorbell and may have caught the suspect on camera is asked to get in touch.
