Rishi Sunak was among those crowds who gathered in the sunshine for Bedale Point to Point on Saturday.
The good weather saw large numbers of spectators head to the meeting at Hornby Castle.
Prime Minister and Richmond MP Rishi Sunak attended with his family.
Accompanied by his wife, Akshata, their daughters and his parents, Mr Sunak watched the races, met jockeys and race officials and spoke to many of the other racegoers.
On the course, there were six races, with the big success of the day being jockey Paddy Barlow, who rattled up a treble, winning the 2m 6f Conditions race aboard the Will Milburn trained Cullin Hills, the Men’s Open on The Whistle Blower for trainer John Barlow, and the Maiden on the Fiona Needham-trained Moonlight Flitt.
