Police are appealing for help to track down vandals who have daubed children’s play equipment with graffiti in Bedale.
They’re calling on anyone who can help them track down who is responsible for daubing the equipment in Bedale Park with images of soldiers and the words ‘cosmic and lame’.
A spokesperson said: “Can you help with an appeal for information following a spate of criminal damage in Bedale? A number of pieces of graffiti depicting images of soldiers and the words ‘cosmic’ and ‘lame’ have appeared on children’s play equipment and pieces of street furniture.
“Officers are carrying out enquiries to identify who is responsible and asking anyone who has any information or anyone who has witnessed the damage taking place, or has CCTV or doorbell footage, to email James.Crawford@northyorkshire.police.uk. You can also contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2, and ask to speak to PC James Crawford or report anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
