The Original Richmond in Bloom Plant Sale is being held in Richmond Market Place on Sunday, June 25 from 11am to 4pm.
This popular annual event raises funds for the extra flowers around Richmond town centre which enhance the planters and baskets provided by Richmond Town Council.
Stalls will include Ravensworth Nurseries, J&H Meynells, Mandy Owen Flowers and Plants, The Plant Shop at Middlemoor, Temptations Gifts and Ladders, Original Richmond in Bloom, Stable Cottage Vintage Holiday Flowers and Marie Curie Swaledale Fund Raising Group.
Plants, seedlings, cuttings, gardening gifts, tools, ornaments, house plants and more will be on sale.
There is still some space for stallholders. Expressions of interest are welcome from nurseries, plantsmen and charities. To book a stall, e-mail info@originalrichmond.co.uk or ring 07949 128924.
Donations of plants for the ‘In Bloom’ stall are also welcome using the same contact details. There is no charge for a stall, although a contribution to Richmond in Bloom would be welcome.
Organisers said the plant sale is being held on the same day as the opening of Mr. Yorke’s Walled Garden, "making this a perfect day out for gardening enthusiasts".
