TV star Robson Green has been filming in Weardale as part of his Weekend Escapes series.
The actor and TV presenter was joined by Lee Ingleby as they spent an afternoon with the team at Weardale Railway, based at Stanhope Station.
Viewers will have to wait until the second series of Robson’s Weekend Escapes is aired to find out exactly what they were doing at the popular heritage railway tourist attraction.
The series sees Robson joined by fellow celebrities, such as George Gently star Ingleby on days out in the North East.
Wayne Dixon, Weardale Railway general manager, said: “It was great to have Robson and Lee here to meet the team and see exactly what we do.
"His love of the great outdoors and our beautiful scenic surroundings was clear for all to see; we had a fantastic day with him, Lee and the crew, I'd like to thank everyone involved"
Their time in Weardale was filmed by a ten-strong crew, for the BBC2 series.
