This Sunday, Norton Conyers near Ripon, is opening up its 18th Century gardens in aid of Saint Michael’s Hospice.
Entry is £6 (under 16s free) to explore the orangery, ornamental pond, herbaceous borders and parkland views – or perhaps enjoy a game of croquet on the lawn.
Unusual hardy plants will be on sale and homemade teas will be available. Dogs on short leads are welcome and there is wheelchair access.
The event is from 2pm to 4.30pm, by kind permission of the Graham Family.
Norton Conyers is four miles north of Ripon, near Wath, with the postcode HG4 5EQ.
