Cast and crew of the hit ITV programme Vera were spotted early this morning (August 22) along a famous North East seafront filming scenes for the upcoming series.
The crew for ITV’s Vera were busy filming the show's 13th series at 6am this morning on Redcar Esplanade, with the road also being closed off to motorists.
Brenda Blethyn was spotted with her co-star outside playland amusements as they appeared to be filming inside a fish and chip shop.
Pictures also showed the star getting out of her iconic Defender as camera crews bustled around the area.
Redcar is the latest location in the region by ITV, as they have also been seen at work in Hexham, Wylam and North Shields in recent months.
Filming is set to continue tomorrow (August 23), after Vera and the crew were first spotted at the seafront on August 14.
The announcement about Vera returning to Redcar was made when ice cream shop Gabrielle’s took to social media to mention that crew would be filming nearby later this week.
On its social media post, Gabrielle’s said: "If you didn’t already know, Vera is filming this week in Redcar.
"The only disruption to ourselves is we have agreed to turn our music off for filming. This will only affect takeaway and not our parlour.
"This will happen Wednesday, August 23 - 2pm until 3pm, and Thursday, August 24 - 8.30pm until 10pm.
"Thank you for your understanding, and, if you come down, hopefully you'll see Vera in person."
