A popular North Yorkshire pub has featured on a travel TV show - with people that watched the episode loving the appearance of the venue on their telly.
On Tuesday (August 22) evening, viewers who tuned in to Channel 5 might have seen a familiar sight after The Tan Hill Inn was seen on Dan and Helen’s Pennine Adventure.
In the second episode of the programme, Helen Skelton and Dan Walker were seen at the highest pub in Great Britain at 1732 feet above sea level.
The Channel 5 programme follows the pair as they explore Cumbria's Pennine Way.
The show sees Dan and Helen meet the people that live and work along the route to seek out some of the hidden gems it has to offer.
Each episode of Dan & Helen’s Pennine Adventure will see the two at different points in their journey as they take part in various fun activities.
When the programme launched, Dan Walker said of the new Channel 5 show: “I am really looking forward to making this series with Helen. I can’t wait to get out there and explore the Pennines.
"It will be nice to escape the studio for a while and join a good friend to discover a beautiful slice of the UK and meet some amazing people along the way. They promised me there would be food to taste too!”
Helen added: “I’m really looking forward to and grateful for the opportunity to have some incredible adventures with my friend, Dan. And it’s on my doorstep!”
Just before Tuesday's episode of the show aired, The Tan Hill Inn posted on their social media channels: "The second episode of Dan and Helen’s Pennine Adventure starring Helen Skelton and Dan Walker airs tonight on Channel 5."
The caption was accompanied by a picture of the pair enjoying a Sunday roast at the venue.
