Police have arrested three people in connection with an investigation into an aircraft crash that claimed the life of a man.
North Yorkshire Police confirmed the arrests on Wednesday (September 13) in connection with the light aircraft crash which occurred on Thursday, July 6 at Bagby Airfield near Thirsk.
At the time, police, fire and ambulance all attended the scene, and it was confirmed that a man in his 20s had died in the incident.
Following the collision, an investigation led by North Yorkshire Police with support from the Civil Aviation Authority was launched.
On Wednesday, officers from North Yorkshire Police put out an update to confirm that three men aged 37, 55 and 68 were yesterday arrested on suspicion of manslaughter on Tuesday (September 12).
The men were interviewed and have since been released under investigation.
