A 'staple of the community' staff member has called time at his 38-year-long career at a North East shop after taking the decision to retire over the weekend.
Peter Moulder may have worked at Co-op in Roseworth, Stockton, for almost four decades, but those who have seen him in the store for all of those years have finally said goodbye to him, as he prepares to enjoy retirement.
In that time frame, Mr Moulder has seen generations of families in the area grow up and has been branded a "cheery" and "welcome" character by many.

There’s no one like you ever," while another added: "Good luck in your retirement Peter, enjoy every minute of it. You are a fabulous person and I enjoyed every minute of working with you."
