McDonald's has provided an update about its new restaurant opening by sharing images of how progress on the main building and drive-thru is coming along.
The fast food giant is planning to open its newest addition on Darlington Road in Northallerton in October after constructing the restaurant over the last couple of months.
Despite no exact date being set for the venue, new images released from McDonald's show the signs going up and large parts of the main building completed.
This update is welcome news for the people of Northallerton, who would previously have faced a 15-minute drive to Leeming Bar to get a Big Mac.
It's also welcome news for the people of Darlington, with only a 25-minute drive for people of the town, while it's also located between the A1 and A19 for commuters.
Alongside the progress update, the McDonald's restaurant is also recruiting for staff at all levels.
Posting an update to its social media page, Northallerton McDonald's said: "Under a month to go.
"We're extremely excited to see that the building is taking shape, nearly ready for opening day.
"If you have great customer service skills or would like to learn something new and develop your skills, apply now for an interview online, or pop into our Thirsk restaurant.
"Interviews are available the next day, to start the same week's training in our Thirsk restaurant, or a later date if this is best."
Matthew Wharton, director of Wharton Construction, who has been building the new McDonald's, added: "We are constructing the highly anticipated new McDonalds in Northallerton.
"It will be a standard-sized drive-through.
"The building itself is getting craned in two halves.
"It will bring in a lot of new jobs to the area.
"Before this branch was finished people had to go all the way to Leeming Bar.
"It would have been a 15-minute drive but soon people will have a McDonald's on their doorstep."
Plans for the site show how it will have an outdoor seating area, parking spaces and drive-through lanes.
Keep an eye out for the job adverts that will be popping up soon to fill all the roles at the new drive-through.
