Firefighters were on the scene attending a large barn fire in North Yorkshire last night.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue service (NYFRS) attended a 'large fire' affecting barns in the Carthorpe area south of Bedale on Monday (September 25) night at around 11.15pm.
Crews from across the Hambleton & Harrogate district were all in attendance.
A total of eight appliances, one water bowser and one high-volume pump were deployed to the scene.

A NYFRS spokesperson said: "Fire crews from across the Hambleton and Harrogate district currently attending a large fire affecting barns in the Carthorpe area south of Bedale.
"Currently a total of 8 appliances, 1 water bowser are attending and 1 high volume pump is en route."
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service and North Yorkshire Police have been contacted for more information on the incident.
