Bus services in Swaledale will be altered over the next few weeks due to a road closure between Muker and Thwaite.
The B6270 road will be closed to all traffic, including pedestrians and cyclists, near Usha Gap from tomorrow, September 28, for several weeks while North Yorkshire Council rebuild a section of collapsed retaining wall.

Little White Bus Swaledale Shuttle service 30 will operate between Richmond, Reeth and Muker at the usual times, but will be unable to serve Thwaite or Keld for the duration of the closure.
Northern DalesBus 831 which runs on summer Sundays between Middlesbrough, Stockton, Darlington, Richmond, Reeth, Muker and Hawes will be diverted each Sunday until the last day of the summer season on October 22.
From Reeth the bus will divert via Carperby and Askrigg in Wensleydale to Hawes, and will not serve Low Row, Gunnerside, Muker, the Buttertubs Pass or Simonstone.
