A lollipop man escorting children across a road was injured after being hit by a driver who failed to stop.
The incident happened on Bede Road in Barnard Castle at around 8.30am on Friday, September 15.
The pedestrian was escorting children across the road when a black pick up style vehicle collided with the him.

A Durham Police spokesperson said: "Police are appealing for information following a suspected collision involving a pedestrian in Barnard Castle.
"It is believed the pedestrian, a lollipop man was escorting children across the road when a black pick up style vehicle collided with the pedestrian."
The vehicle failed to stop at the collision before leaving the scene.
Durham Police confirmed the pedestrian sustained minor injuries in the incident.
Officers are now keen to speak to anyone with information or CCTV/dashcam footage of the incident.
