New author Jackie Watson came to Guisborough Bookshop on Saturday, to introduce her debut novel.
"Apokeri Bay – How far would you go for love?" is a fictional story set on the Greek island of Lefkada.
Ms Watson said that after having the same dream over and over again, she decided to put it into a book.
The story sees a character called Anna falls in love with the quaint seaside village of Apokeri Bay to start her life again away from family and lover.
